Level-Up
Veterinary Physiotherapy

Level-Up Veterinary Physiotherapy is currently based within Clarks Farm Rehoming Centre.  In addition, a mobile service is available for canines, equines and other small animals in Essex and surrounding areas. Prior to the assessment, a detailed history of the animal will be taken to gain an understanding of the individual patient. A thorough assessment of each individual will be carried out, by viewing the animal statically and dynamically, carrying out a range of motion assessment and palpation. These factors allow for a greater understanding to be made of the animal, therefore, a suitable and tailored rehabilitation plan will be created to allow for optimal treatment. Rehabilitation will vary greatly dependant on each individual. Various modalities of treatments may be used during the session, including:

- Massage

- Stretching

- Passive Range of Motion

- Electrotherapies, including: Low level laser therapy, Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMFT), Ultrasound, Heat and Cold therapy, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulations (TENS) and Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES)

- Remedial Exercises

At an additional cost, tailored remedial exercise plans can be created to enhance the rehabilitation of the patient.
